教材简解:本单元以气候和季节为主题,开展教学活动。教授季节单词和一些与气候相关的词汇,以气候和季节的询问与应答为重点内容。学生们在日常生活中对气候和季节比较熟悉,教师应在课前布置学生了解当地气候及适合的运动项目,以保证学生在课堂上有话可说。为了让学生更好地掌握本单元内容,教师要充分考虑学生的年龄特点,开展以适应学生年龄特点的有效课堂活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的课堂积极性和听课效率。目标预设:
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:cool, windy, sunny
2.能听懂、会说和会读单词和词组: be going to, next week, for one year, know about, ask…about…, in the countryside, most of the time, make snowmen, need some warm clothes, Sound great.
3.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语和句型: What’s the weather like? It’s… Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s… I can…
重点、难点:
1. 能熟练掌握文中出现的单词词组。
2. 能熟练运用有关气候的交际用语并理解文章的含义。
设计理念:
《英语课程标准》指出:小学英语要尽可能通过提供趣味性较强的内容和活动,激发学生的学习兴趣和学习动机。本课教学中,我立足“以人为本,玩中学,学中用,提高学生学习英语的兴趣”的教学理念,重视学生学习英语良好兴趣的培养,展开以教师为主导、以学生为主体的师生双边活动,在交流中提高学生的语言表达能力。同时引导学生在理解的基础上,运用课文中的材料进行初步的交际练习。
设计思路:
本节课通过歌曲导入不仅活跃了课堂气氛,也为新授季节和气候做好铺垫。通过Free talk的形式与学生自由对话不仅对前后知识进行了整合同时也引出课题The seasons.从词到句到语篇展开教学,由易到难,逐步递进,符合了学生的接受能力。在对词句操练的巩固后,进行语篇教学。通过让学生看动画划关键词,跟读等方式来对语篇有整体的理解,在理解的基础上通过教师指导,学生小组合作探究等形式对进行知识进行梳理,最后再用一个语篇练习来加以巩固,不仅有针对性的复习了重要的句型也提高了学生的阅读能力。

Step1. Revision

Step 2.New Teaching
1. T: How many seasons in a year?

2. Play a game: Look at the pictures and say the seasons.
