Step 1:Warm up
1. Enjoy the pictures
The pictures about Beijing/London/Hong Kong/ Taipei
Name the places
引导学生欣赏不同地方的不同照片,然后把照片进行归类,并说出不同照片的不同地方名称。通过视觉效果,让学生了解不同地点的不同名声古迹。
2. Play a game: Brain storm
Name the activities
Name the holidays
用游戏的方式来复习学生学过的节日以及活动,并为本课的学习打好铺垫,同时也引出本课的主题:Summer holiday plans.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Watch cartoon and find :
Who are they in the story?
Su Hai, Liu Tao, Mike, Yang Ling
通过这个简要的问题,让学生能够整体感知课文,了解课文中的主要人物。
2. Read in groups and answer the question:
Where will they go for the holiday?
Ss: … will go to … for the holiday.
通过解决此问题,学生对文章的大意了解更加清晰,不同人物去了不同的地点,新授:Hong Kong, Taipei, London

通过此环节的设计,旨在训练学生听的能力。给出学生4个问题,让学生对第一板块有更加清晰的了解,同时解决文中的细节知识:how long, stay, will not=won’t
4. Read in roles and fill in the blanks
